1. Classes for Wednesday, December 5th

It’s been so exciting to see so many new faces join us at our last few
Wednesday night dances. And that Big Apple circle got everyone out of
their seats and boogie-ing down. There is still time to join the fun
this year and the beginning of the month is the best time to get in on
all the excitement.
* 7:00 - 8:00 Balboa Level 2 series with Jeff & Ashley
* 8:00 - 9:00 Level 1 Lindy Hop series with Trevor and Andrea
* 8:00 - 9:00 Level 2 Lindy Hop series with Gilles and Laura
* 9:00 - 12:00 Dance party with DJ Trevor
December is going to be two week series.
Prices
1 Two-week series = $25
Balboa + Lindy series = $40
Week 1 Drop-in for any series = $14
Week 1 DJ Party only = $7

Join Jeff and Ashley for an exciting 2-week Intermediate Balboa
mini-series. We will be covering a variety of topics including vintage
moves, new combinations, footwork variations, and core technique. We'll
also make time to address any questions you may have about anything you
learned at the recent San Francisco Balboa Festival.
Some balboa experience is necessary, and social dance experience
is expected.
---Level 1 Lindy Hop---
December Focus: Swingin' In 6's and 8's
So there are 6 count moves and 8 count moves, but you want it all.
How can we blend these two worlds? In two weeks, Trevor and Andrea
will introduce you to a variety of 6 count and 8 count moves and show
you how to harmoniously blend all of your moves into a symphony of
beautiful dancing movement.
---Level 2 Lindy Hop---
December Focus: SHAG!
There have been movies made about it. It made the college kids of the
30’s go crazy. You’ve seen swingers out on the dance floor feverously
bopping to the beat with it. It is Collegiate Shag! This fun and
challenging form of swing dancing is designed to give you a different
way to dance to fast music. We’ll take you from the basics of shag, so no
previous shag experience is necessary but previous lindy and/or partner
dancing experience is recommended. Expand your dance repertoire with
this captivating dance form.

2. END OF THE YEAR PARTY! -- December 12th, Next Week!!!

NEXT WEEK is the BIG HOLIDAY BLOWOUT! Wednesday Night Hop is bringing
out the The Joe Ferrari Big Band (
thejoeferraribigband.com/)
for the very first time to keep us dancing all night long! The Joe
Ferrari Big Band has been keepin' it swingin' since 1983 and has
practically become a household name among big band dance enthusiasts
in the South Bay Area.
In addition to LIVE MUSIC, there will also be performance from the
Swing Cats Rhythm Review (
SwingCats.net) and belly dancing!
If that isn’t enough, when you come out dancing on Wednesday we will
be collecting cans for the 2ND HARVEST FOOD BANK. If you bring one or
more cans of food, you will get $1 OFF ADMISSION to the party! Bring
as many as you like to spread the holiday cheer!
