1. THIS WEEK: June Series Begin! Live Music with Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums!

A new month, a new exciting series! We're super thrilled to be adding Jean & Bromley, the Bay Area's amazing duo, to the list of our guest instructors. They will be teaching Level 3 and... Level 4! Below, check out the descriptions to all our great classes this month, then register online -- don't wait in line!

Live music comes once again to WNH! You're in for a treat, as once again we're having Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums! They were among the first neo-swing bands to modernize and re-invent the jump swing genre while staying true to their musical roots. With a warm and loving sound that would please Louis Jordan, they manage to convey a sense of cool hipness through their fun, playful music. Led by the mischievous Steve Lucky on piano and vocals and the vivacious Miss Carmen Getit on lead guitar and vocals, the band's chemistry is hot enough to melt metal. They are an amazing band with an amazing horn and rhythm section that can't be beat.

*** LEVEL 4: J&B's Favorite Moves w/ Jean & Bromley ***
Jean and Bromley are so excited to be joining the South Bay in June. So they have compiled their favorites moves to share it with all of you South Bay Lindy Hoppers!
*** LEVEL 2: Swing out technique w/ Idalia & Brian ***
The mother move of Lindy hop, the swing out! if you can do one move and do it right it should be the swing out! Come make things feel nice and smooth with us this June as we give you the secrets to having awesome connection with your partner, so good they'll come back for more ;). Maybe we can even add flair to our swing outs wink wink. Join us for this insightful class that will make your dancing 100% better!

*** LEVEL 1: Charleston w/ Audrey & James ***
Did you know that the Charleston preceded even swing and lindy hop? It's true! Come learn the fundamental steps that took the 1920s by storm, and which today form the basis of all that we call swing. James and Audrey will teach you fundamental Charleston moves this month and will help you figure out how to fit them with whatever other moves you already know...but fear not if you've never danced before, we'll get you up to speed on swing basics as well!
*** LEVEL 3: Lindy Roots: Putting Jazz back into your Lindy w/ Jean & Bromley ***
Jazz movements are such an integral part of the history of this dance, but doesn't have to be done only while solo dancing. Jean and Bromley will show you creative ways to incorporate jazz movements and footwork variations into your Lindy which will help make your dancing look and feel fuller.

3. Just For You: DISCOUNTS! Punch Cards!

*** DISCOUNTS! ***
WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount. Dances are also discounted to a admission cost. Drop-in classes are not discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:
for series classes (regularly )
for drop-in classes (same as regular price)
for the dance only (regularly or on band night)
*** PUNCH CARDS! ***
Wednesday Night offers value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
