"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" Every year, Wednesday Night Hop does an impossible thing -- brings snow to the South Bay! We all come dressed in white to our annual White Out Party and turn our dance floor into a festivity of dancing snowflakes. So remember -- wear something WHITE next week for the party, take a picture with your friends in our decorated photo booth and enjoy spectacular performances by Swing Cats Rhythm Revue and Double or Nothing!

Congratulations to our 3rd round Jack 'n Jill winners! Margot Kimura and Adam Koenig got the third place, Helen Lu and Leo Alekseev placed second, and Lori Taniguchi and Paul Csonka got the first place! Lori and Paul are advanced to the finals, while Margot, Adam, Helen, and Leo get points that will count toward the finals.
And the finals are finally here! This week we're dancing to the fabulous Kally Price's Old Blues & Jazz Band, and we'll get to watch the best couples of this year's Harvest Moon Jack & Jill compete for a chance to win one of our great prizes. We go until the judges and crowd are satisfied, it will be a spectacle not to be missed!

2. Nov-Dec Classes: Romain & Audrey! Gilles & Angela!

*** LEVEL 2: Swing-Out Technique w/ Gilles & Angela ***
The swingout is the bread and butter of lindy hop - the circular movement of the swingout differentiates lindy hop from east coast swing, and makes lindy hop so dynamic to do and watch. You learned the basic elements of the swingout in your Level 1 class; now, it's time to tweak your swingouts so they can be as awesome as you want them to be! In this class, we'll give you tools to improve your swingout technique and will cover some ridiculously fun styling options such as swivels, scissor kicks, swoops, and more. Throughout it all, we will also work on how to maximize your connection to your partner.
*** ALL LEVELS BALBOA: Balboa Is Back! w/ Romain & Audrey ***
Balboa is subtle and intricate dance that can be an exciting and fantastic little intimate secret of connection and unspoken communication between you and your partner! Whether you have some experience already with this dance or you are an absolute beginner, you can gain more facility with the basics and learn some moves to faster and faster music in this series with Romain and Audrey.
This series will start with the balboa basics, and quickly build up your balboa repertoire with paddles, come around, toss out, lollies, cross overs, slides, and show you how to mix them together in fun patterns.

*** LEVEL 1: Charleston w/ Gilles & Angela ***
The Charleston began as its own dance in the 1920s and took the US by storm. The Lindy Hop evolved from it and even giving it its own flavor. The two are very often mixed together in the same dance. Join Angela and Gilles to learn 1920's and 1930's style Charleston and how to make them fit seamlessly with your Lindy Hop.
*** LEVEL 3: French Menu w/ Romain & Audrey ***
We are delighted to have Romain back teaching with Audrey for this level 3 series. Romain will share some of his favorite Charleston & Texas Tommy variations.

WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount. Dances are also discounted to a admission cost. Drop-in classes are not discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:

Wednesday Night offers value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
