Aren't Wednesdays fun!?! With all of the fun classes, mixers, jams,
snacks, and great music . . . whew! We can hardly wait until next
week! And last Wednesday, DJ Alex kept the tunes jamming through the
night! May classes are looking really good, however, it's already
time to start signing up for those cool June classes (see below)!

Drag out your old duds and get dressed up for our "Beyond the Sea"
Lindy Prom Night. Previously worn prom dresses and polyester are
encouraged but not required. Prizes awarded for "Best Dressed",
"Class Clown", "Most Unique". Come out and vote for your Lindy Prom
King & Queen 2008!
We will have a photo booth so you can get your picture taken for our
"Lindy Prom YearBook"! All attendees plus extra pictures from the
evening will be included in our virtual yearbook. Including pictures
of our Prom King and Queen and prize winners. Come have a ball with us!
What to Wear?
-------------
You don't have to go along with the Prom theme, but dress to impress,
as we'll have fun prizes to reward your efforts. Ladies, dig through
that closet for your best prom or bridesmaid dress, wear something
stylish, or make your own. Gents, can anyone say polyester powder blue
tuxedo with ruffles?

*** Level 2 - 7pm -- Megan & Gilles ($14 drop-in) ***
Lindy Assassin: How to "Kill It" on the Dance Floor.
A fun and exciting class full of cool moves that will knock your
partners' socks off. Drop spins, slides and some seriously stealth
moves. Get ready to rumble, it's on.
This series is suitable for the intermediate Lindy Hop dancer with 6+
months of continuous dancing experience. No partner required!
*** Level 1 - 8pm -- Laura & Trevor ($14 drop-in) ***
Jazz'n Your Lindy: Lindy Hop core moves plus breakaways and jazz
variations.
This series will boost your Lindy Hop vocabulary by teaching you jazz
variations that will improve your basic Lindy movement while adding
fun and excitement to your dancing. The series will also focus on
teaching some core Lindy Hop moves, with exercises in basic movement
and partner connection techniques.
We will cover the Lindy Basic Swing Out, Lindy Circle, 8
count footwork and lots of fun variations you can create with jazz
steps. "Jazz'n Your Lindy" will focus on communicating with your partner to
easily lead and follow a variety of moves. This series will allow
lots of practice to perfect these moves and drill them into your
lindy repertoire. Get ready to get down with all sorts of boogies,
shorty georges, fish tails, scissor kicks, spanking babies and
falling off some logs.
This series is suitable from the absolute beginner with no dance
experience to dancers with 4-6 months of Lindy Hop dance experience.
No partner necessary!

Level 2 - Intermediate Lindy Hop Series with Trevor & Audrey
Dips, Lifts and Aerials! "Movin' On Up" from the basement to the
penthouse. This class is filled with some down to the ground moves,
and high flying fun. Get ready to take your lindy up and down with
this exciting new series in June.
Level 1 - Beginner Lindy Hop Series with Gilles & Laura
Kickin' Lindy: Integrating Charleston into your Lindy Hop
This class will help you master entrances and exits into Tandem and
Side by Side Charleston. Plus, lots of fun Charleston variations to
boot. Come kick it with us in June.
