What a lovely Lindy Prom we had! Congratulations to Scott and Marika, this year's Lindy Prom King and Queen. Quite a comeback I must say for Marika and we hope we see a lot more of both of them in the future!
NOW is the time to introduce new people to the awesomeness of Lindy hop. It's our summer swing program! Three months of beginning level 1 classes for the price of two! The three months starts on July 4th and runs all the way through to September 26th and includes a fifth week class so that's a 6 value for only 0. All that and a life time of friendships and new skills and exercise.

Our fabulous guest from Korea Jandi Kim is in town teaching classes and DJing for us this week! We are so lucky to have her, so take advantage of what she's got to offer while she's here! She is also available for private lessons. That's a great way to improve your dancing fast!

== Level 2: Swingout Styling and Technique with Jandi & Trevor ==
This month, your instructors will be working on your swingouts! The swingout is the basic building block of our 8 count Lindy Hop, and learning to do it right, while dressing it up, will take your Lindy Hop to the next level!
== Solo Jazz with Rebecca Shannon: Ballin' the Jack routine ==
Ballin' the Jack is a song and dance created in 1913 which remained part of the popular culture up until the mid 1960's. It's comprised of traditional jazz (grapevines, scissors kicks, etc) and some razz-ma-tazz. It was one of Gene Kelly's favorite short routines. Bring a hat with a brim if you have one!

== Level 1 with Margot and Richard: "Charleston 101: Kickin' It Old School" ==
Think fast music is just for "Advanced" dancers? Horsefeathers! This month, Richard and Margot will help you build a solid swing foundation on the original "fast dance," the Charleston. We'll cover basic footwork for 20's style Charleston (face-to-face) and 30's style Charelston (side-by-side). We'll also show you some cute turns and hand-to-hand variations- moves that integrate seamlessly into your Lindy hop, and make dancing to fast music even more fun!
== Level 3: Teachers' choice with Jandi & Trevor ==
Two of our favorites are back on the dance floor, and teaching together! Jandi & Trevor are partnering for the last two weeks of June to teach level 3.

WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount. Dances are also discounted to a admission cost. Drop-in classes are not discounted.

for the dance only (regularly or on band night)

Wednesday Night offers value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class for only for the continuing student and for the brand new dancer! Spread the gospel of swing!
