1. Wed. Apr 30th -- Fifth Week Fun! Shag, Slides, Jumps & More!

This week, we've got our special week 5 classes! Drop in to these
lessons for something new and different! Just $14 for the lesson
and dance party!

Level 1 - 8pm -- Trevor & Audrey ($14 drop-in)
Crazy fun stuff you can do to fast music and More! Slick 6 count
moves, slides, and cool jumps.
Level 2 - 7pm -- Gilles & Andrea ($14 drop-in)
Shag! There have been movies made about it. It made the college kids
of the 30's go crazy. You've seen swingers out on the dance floor
feverously bopping to the beat with it. It is Collegiate Shag! This
fun and challenging form of swing dancing is designed to give you a
different way to dance to fast music. We'll take you from the basics
of shag, so no previous shag experience is necessary but previous
lindy and/or partner dancing experience is recommended. Expand your
dance repertoire with this captivating dance form.
Collegiate Shag is a dance that evolved from the Charleston. It is
thought to have originated in the South and was popular in the 1920's
and 1930's with college students. Collegiate Shag is normally danced
to a six count basic step pattern. It may be danced in both closed
and open position and is often danced to faster swing music.

*** Level 1 - 8pm -- Laura & Trevor ($50) ***
Jazz'n Your Lindy: Lindy Hop core moves plus breakaways and jazz
variations.
Series D will boost your Lindy Hop vocabulary by teaching jazz
variations that will improve your basic Lindy movement while adding
fun and excitement to your dancing. The series will also focus on
teaching some core Lindy Hop moves, with exercises in basic movement
and partner connection techniques.
This series will cover the Lindy Basic Swing Out, Lindy Circle, 8
count footwork and lots of fun variations you can create with jazz
steps. Series D will focus on communicating with your partner to
easily lead and follow a variety of moves. This series will allow
lots of practice to perfect these moves and drill them into your
lindy repertoire. Get ready to get down with all sorts of boogies,
shorty georges, fish tails, scissor kicks, spanking babies and
falling off some logs.
This series is suitable from the absolute beginner with no dance
experience to dancers with 4-6 months of Lindy Hop dance experience.
No partner necessary!
*** Level 2 - 7pm -- Megan & Gilles ($50) ***
Lindy Assassin: How to "Kill It" on the Dance Floor.
A fun and exciting class full of cool moves that will knock your
partners socks off. Drop spins, slides and some seriously stealth
moves. Get ready to rumble, its on.
This series is suitable for the intermediate Lindy Hop dancer with 6+
months of continuous dancing experience. No partner required!
