Thanks for making California Swingin' such a great success! We had a grand ol' time geeking out about the roots of this thing we call swing and listening and learning about jazz piano greats!
If you weren't there, you may not know that our T-shirt design winners have been announced! We've got Rebecca Shannon's design on the front and Margot Helm's design on the back! Fitted shirts are and regular Tees are . We will have a sample of each size and color at WNH so that you can try one on and pre-order for the first round print!
Don't forget! Kevin St. Laurent and Jo Hoffberg will be in town to teach full series classes (Intermediate Balboa and Level 3) at Wednesday Night Hop in September! August class series' conclude and next week will be a special stand alone drop-in lesson. Summer Swingers fear not! This class IS included in your three month package.

Wednesday Night Hop goes INTERNATIONAL this summer! Jandi Kim from Korea joins us to teach level 2 and level 3 this month and Romain Feuillette flies in from France to teach this week!

*** INTERMEDIATE BALBOA Grab-bag ***
7:15 - 8:15pm
Join us for the first intermediate Balboa series at Wednesday Night Hop. This month, Pinar, Chris E., Gabe, Andrea and Romain will be introducing an exciting mix of classes varying from Bal classics to teachers' favorites. Absorb it all and tailor your own philosophy from the breadth of experience presented to you throughout this month. You must know: Basic footwork, come-around, break-turn, throw-out, cross-overs, and lollies and be comortable transitioning between Pure Balboa and Bal-swing.
*** LEVEL 1 - BLENDING RHYTHMS ***
8:15 - 9:15pm
When social dancing at a Lindy Hop event, you'll always experience dancing 8-count footwork, 6-count footwork, and other interesting rhythms. In this beginner level 4 week series class, Julie & Trevor will teach you the art of transitioning between these rhythms. They will also teach you some 6 and 8 count patterns that will get you swinging' with style!
*** LEVEL 2 - CHARLESTON VARIATIONS AND TRANSITIONS ***
7:15 - 8:15pm
In this class, Jandi and Brian will guide you through a smorgasbord of Charleston moves and give you the ability to transition seamlessly through them all! Bulk up on your vocabulary with kick-throughs, airplanes, 20's, and Charleston Swing-outs, and move between them with style!
*** LEVEL 3 - INTERNATIONAL FLARE! ***
8:15 - 9:15pm
Jandi Kim joins us from Korea to shed some light on Lindy Hop from her own unique point of view. Join her and Brian in class this month to get some great insight into your dancing and the way you can connect using the international language of dance!

WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount. Dances are also discounted to a admission cost. Drop-in classes are not discounted.

for drop-in classes (same as regular price)
for the dance only (regularly or on band night)

Wednesday Night offers value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class for only for the continuing student and for the brand new dancer! Spread the gospel of swing!
