1. THIS WEEK: Dec 15th - Holiday White Out Party! Performances!

Don't miss the Holiday White Out Party this week! We are celebrating the snowy season, and since we don't get snow here we will dress the part instead! Don't forget to WEAR SOMETHING WHITE this week! Bring your honey or find a buddy and take a picture together in our free photo booth that will be open for 1/2 hour, every hour, at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. We will alternate taking your pictures and printing your pictures so hopefully you can go home with a photographic memory of your evening!
Be sure to stick around because Double or Nothing and the Swing Cats Rhythm Revue will be performing just before 10:00! It will be a little holiday show!
Stand up and be counted! We will also take a HUGE group picture of everyone in their white clothes after the show!
THIS WILL BE ADAM'S LAST NIGHT (FOR A WHILE) AT WNH! :( Please show him your appreciation with some really big hearted Wednesday Night Hop love before he heads off to Seattle.
As always, we will have the DJ dance party and the birthday jam with some great tunes, this week played by DJ Andrea!

2. December Series Classes with Trevor & Audrey AND Adam & Pinar!

YES! We are now offering Balboa classes and Level 3 Lindy Hop! Drop-ins are still welcome to any of the classes, but be aware that the classes are taught in series so there may be some catching up to do!
*** LEVEL 1 - LINDY BASICS AND CHARLESTON ***
8:15 - 9:15pm
Come have some fun with Trevor and Audrey as they take you through some moves to get you going to some up tempo music! This class will take a beginner with little to no dance experience and introduce the basics of lindy hop as well as how to integrate some fun and fast footed Charleston steps.
*** LEVEL 2 - DYNAMIC LINDY ***
7:15 - 8:15pm
This series will break down how subtle variations can lead to dynamic interaction on the dance floor. Full of practical techniques, this class will help you build connection and use momentum to effortlessly link and create new moves hopefully ending up with a "48 count move," a roller coaster, that you cannot predict from the beginning where it might end up at the end!
*** LEVEL 3 - BE THE MASTER OF THE 2-WAY STREET ***
7:15 - 8:15pm
Communication is one of the most essential ingredients of a good partner dance. In this class, Adam and Pinar will challenge you with a long list of examples where you have to take both your speaking and listening skills on a fun ride. The class will have you leading and following some of the most tricky moves on the dance floor with finesse, while showing you ways to subtly interject your personal creative ideas within the flow of our dance with your partner. A super inspiring series of classes to end 2010!
*** ALL LEVELS BALBOA ***
8:15 - 9:15pm
Balboa is subtle and intricate dance that can be an exciting and fantastic little intimate secret of connection and unspoken communication between you and your partner! Whether you have some experience already with this dance or you are an absolute beginner, you can gain more facility with the basics and learn some moves to faster and faster music in this series with Adam and Pinar.

Class includes free admission to the dance party.
7:15pm - Level 2 OR Level 3 Lindy Hop ($16 drop-in)
8:15pm - Level 1 Lindy Hop OR All Levels Balboa ($16 drop-in)
9:15pm - 12am - DJ dance party! ($8 DJ dance)

3. Dance Dance Resolution! 3 Months of Level 1 for the price of 2!

If you have any friends who would like to learn how to dance in 2011, or you'd like to get a good foundation yourself in the fundamentals of Lindy Hop, there is no time like the present! Wednesday Night Hop is offering three months of level 1 Lindy Hop for the price of 2. That is a $150 package for only $100. The programs starts on January 3rd and runs every Wednesday until March 22nd, 8:15-9:15 including all DJ dances and band nights. Come out and make 2011 the year you learn how to dance! Resister between 6:30 and 10:00pm at the front desk on Wednesdays at Cheryl Burke Dance or on our website:

WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and
younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you
are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a
full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your
full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount.
Dances are also discounted to a $6 admission cost. Drop-in classes are not
discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:
$25 for series classes (regularly $50)
$16 for drop-in classes (same as regular price)
$6 for the dance only (regularly $8 or $12 on band night)

Wednesday Night offers $80 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the
dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a
band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with

If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy
Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your
instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class
for only $25 for the continuing student and $25 for the brand new dancer!
