Congratulations to Sarah Showalter and Justin DeWitt for earning a place in the finals of the $400 Harvest Moon Jack 'n' Jill Derby which will be held on Dec 1st danced to live music by Clint Baker and the Cafe Borrone All-Stars! In addition to our cash prize, we will be awarding passes to Camp Jitterbug up in Seattle on Memorial Day weekend, the SF Balfest happening in December. Next week you have one last chance to make it in the final of the contest!
A huge shout out to Alex F for DJing last week and all of our volunteer judges!

2. Final week of November Series Classes with Gilles & Evonne!

Catch one last week of classes with Gilles & Evonne! WNH will be taking a break on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Happy T-day everybody!
*** LEVEL 1 - 6-COUNT AND 8-COUNT LINDY RHYTHMS ***
8:15 - 9:15pm
Build or expand your Lindy repertoire with this 3-week series with Gilles and Evonne. We will cover fundamental 6-count and 8-count moves along with some fun (Thanksgiving inspired) variations that will get you swinging on the dance floor at once.
*** LEVEL 2 - FIND YOUR BOUNCE ***
7:15 - 8:15pm
Come bounce with us as we explore the Lindy rhythm with 8 count moves. In this 3-week series, Gilles and Evonne will cover travel moves to help you find your Lindy pulse, swing out and texas tommy variations, and swivel styling. Be prepared for three weeks of fun!

3. December Series Classes with Trevor & Audrey! Adam & Pinar on Deck!

Trevor and Audrey are still working out the class content for next months series, but we wanted to still let you know that they will be teaching in December! By next week we should have class descriptions for you.
We are also hoping that the new dance floor is ready for classes and dancing in December so we have lined up Adam & Pinar to also teach in December just in case the floor is ready. We'll know for sure in the next few weeks! Even if it isn't; we are poised at the ready to expand our classes to include Level 3 Lindy Hop and Balboa be it in December or January!

4. Special SF Bal & Swing Fest Discounts for series class enrollees!

Hey! If you are signed up for series classes at WNH during the month of November OR December, you will be eligible for special discounted tickets to the SF Balboa and Swing Fest! The rosters for these two months of classes will be sent to the organizers so that when you sign up on line at the following link, you can reference your enrollment with us after this week of registrations are finalized.

5. Just For You: DISCOUNTS! Punch Cards & 2-for-1 Coupons!

WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and
younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you
are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a
full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your
full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount.
Dances are also discounted to a $5 admission cost. Drop-in classes are not
discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:
$25 for series classes (regularly $50)
$14 or $15 for drop-in classes (same as regular price)
$5 for the dance only (regularly $7 or $10 on band night)

Wednesday Night offers $70 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the
dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a
band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with
cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy
Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your
instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class
for only $25 for the continuing student and $25 for the brand new dancer!
