1. THIS WEEK: Oct 13th - Jack 'n' Jill Derby Starts! DJ Justin DeWitt!

Come to the first week of the $400 Harvest Moon Jack 'n' Jill Derby - kicked off with DJ Justin DeWitt at the helm!
There will be 6 weeks of preliminary contests to determine who goes to the final held on Dec 1st - danced to live music! The winner of each prelim automatically qualifies for the final and 2nd and 3rd place winners earn points for qualification as well. It is only $3 to enter and besides the cash prizes, passes to SF Balfest and Camp Jitterbug will be awarded!
Amateur level competitors only. If you are not sure whether you qualify, please ask.

2. October Series Classes Continue with Adam & Pinar!

This will be the second week of series classes with Adam & Pinar. You can still sign up for the series at the pro-rated price of $40 for rest of the month.
*** LEVEL 1 - FUNDAMENTALS OF LINDY HOP ***
Oct 6 - Oct 27, 8:15 - 9:15pm
Kicking off a new class series in October, Adam and Pinar will start teaching you strong fundamentals upon which you can build a long and healthy passion for lindy hop. Start swingin' out in style to the extraordinary music that is America's greatest heritage. Warning: Lindy hop can lead to copious amounts of fun and excitement.
*** LEVEL 2 - FREE YOUR DANCE ***
Oct 6 - Oct 27, 7:15 - 8:15pm
We always try to push the limits of the box that contain us. We like to remove the mental and physical blocks that inhibit our full expression as dancers and artists. In this class Adam and Pinar will explore ways of achieving these goals. They will help you remove the unnecessary constraints that limit the freedom in your dance and open up a space where you can pronounce your artistry with intention. A rare class sure to be beneficial to dancers of all levels.

7:15pm - Level 2 Int Lindy Hop ($40 series/$14 drop-in, dance included)
8:15pm - Level 1 Beg Lindy Hop ($40 series/$14 drop-in, dance included)
9:15pm - 11:45pm - Dance Party ($7)
($60 to take the rest of both series classes)

Something wicked this way comes... it's Hallowe'en time! Put your thinking caps on and get out your sewing machines, glue guns, or papier-mache; we have $50 waiting for the best costume as well as some other fun and games. Mark your calendars; your costume needs to be ready a little earlier this year!

*** DISCOUNTS! ***
WNH welcomes individuals of 24 years and younger! Show proof of age 24 and
younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you
are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a
full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your
full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount.
Dances are also discounted to a $5 admission cost. Drop-in classes are not
discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:
$25 for series classes (regularly $50)
$14 or $15 for drop-in classes (same as regular price)
$5 for the dance only (regularly $7 or $10 on band night)

Wednesday Night offers $70 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the
dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a
band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with
cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy
Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your
instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class
for only $25 for the continuing student and $25 for the brand new dancer!
