What a sugar high we had last week at the Spring Fling Bake-Off! Congratulations to Richard Perkins and Tim Bartus for winning the Bake-Off with their Almond-Lemon Tartlets and Berry Pie! Thanks to all the participants giving everyone one sweet night!
Mark Your Calendars! WNH Lindy Prom is coming up on May 19th. The theme this year is "Tuxedo Junction"! The prom committee is in full swing, pun intended! We will welcome back the Fil Lorenz Orchestra, dress to the nines and record the evening for posterity in the free photo booth!

We wrap up April with the winning tunes from DJ Naomi Walenta!
Thanks for showing Adam such great Wednesday Night Hop hospitality these past three weeks! We'll finish the month off with a drop-in class from Trevor and Audrey. Read on for more details. They will be teaching classes in May with some material that will be used for a flash mob in June. Don't miss it, it will be legendary!

2. April Series: Level 2 - Trevor & Audrey! Level 1 - Gabe & Andrea!

Trevor and Audrey will be teaching the last week of Level 2 classes this week. Drop in and see what nuggets of Lindy Hop you can grab up from them! Gabe and Andrea will wrap up the Level 1 series.
Level 1 - Lindy Hop: Foundations in Lindy Hop
8:15 - 9:15pm
This month's series will teach you the basics on which to build a fun and healthy passion for Lindy Hop. The class is well suited for people who have had 0 to 3 months experience in Lindy Hop. So, if you want to start swingin' or just improve your fundamentals, come on out for a great class. We will cover a variety of 8-count footwork, rhythms, and movements.
Level 2 - Lindy Hop Conversations and Musicality
7:15 - 8:15pm
In this drop-in class Trevor and Audrey will help you enhance your Lindy Hop pleasure by helping you connect conversationally with your partner and with the music!
*** PRICING & SCHEDULE ***
Class includes free admission to the dance party.
7:15pm - Level 2 Intermediate Lindy Hop ($14 drop-in)
8:15pm - Level 1 Beginning Lindy Hop ($14 drop-in)
9:15pm - 11:45pm - Dance Party! ($7 Dance party)
($21 to drop in both Level 1 & 2)
Cash, Checks or Credit Cards are accepted before 10pm.
Only cash or checks accepted after 10pm.

3. Just For You: NEW STUDENT & UNDER 24 DISCOUNT! Starting in May

WNH is launching a discount price policy for high school and college aged individuals! Show proof of age 24 and younger at the front desk for half off the price of series classes. If you are over 24 years old, but still carry enough credits to qualify as a full-time student, you are still eligible for the discount. Bring in your full-time class schedule for that semester or quarter to get the discount. Dances are also discounted to a $5 admission cost for this group. Drop-in classes are not discounted.
Discount policy for 24 and younger or full-time students:
$25 for series classes (regularly $50)
$14 or $15 for drop-In classes (same as regular price)
$5 for the dance only (regularly $7 or $10 on band night)
New policy effective beginning in May 2010.
*** Punch Cards & 2-for-1 Coupons! ***
Wednesday Night offers $70 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class for only $25 for the continuing student and $25 for the brand new dancer! Spread the gospel of swing!
