DJ Alex Fernandez kept us hopping all night at our Mardi Gras Pardi, and we celebrated Lilly's and Kim's birthdays with cake!
This week DJ Justin Dewitt will have us swingin' on the floor at Wednesday Night Hop! The food is fine, the friends are fun, the floor is fabulous! Come out and see us this week!
Our new series classes start on March 3rd with The Fil Lorenz Orchestra!

You can always drop in on classes this month with Gabe & Andrea! It'll be the 4th week of the series, but Gabe & Andrea will make sure you can still work on something to make your dancing work better and have a satisfying and fun experience on the floor.

Level 1 - Lindy Hop: Fundamentals of Swing: 6, 8, and Everything In Between
8:15 - 9:15pm
Level 2 - Lindy Hop: Detour Ahead - The Art of Dancing in the Moment
7:15 - 8:15pm

2. Lessons March: California Routine & Charleston with Kim & Gilles!

Speciality classes will be offered on March 31st.
Level 1 - Lindy Hop: From Swing Out to Charleston and Back
8:15 - 9:15pm
The Charleston is one of the bases of the Lindy Hop. It began as its own dance in the 1920s and was adopted by Lindy Hoppers in the 1930s. Kim and Gilles will teach the basics of the Charleston and how it fits within the Lindy Hop. This will cover technique, rhythm, and partner connection in the Swing Out, 20s Charleston, and 30s Charleston.
Level 2 - Lindy Hop: The California Routine
7:15 - 8:15pm
The California Routine, preserved in the film Hellzapoppin’ is an essential part of Lindy Hop history and a great way to learn about partnered Lindy Hop routines. Kim and Gilles will teach a popular version of this choreography usually performed simultaneously by a group of dancers.

Wednesday Night offers $70 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
