Talk about a Happy New Year! It was pretty great seeing everyone coming out dancing on the first WNH of 2010. To ring in the new year, DJ Trevor spun the tunes OLD SCHOOL STYLE! AND besides our super regular dancers, we saw some old familiar faces too! Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.
We'll keep it rocking all year round so stick around this coming Wednesday is our first live band of the year - Solomon Douglas Quartet!

Solomon Douglas is back, flying in from Seattle and bringing some swingin' tunes to Wednesday Night Hop! Solomon knows how to please the dancing crowd. Besides being an awesome band leader and jazz pianist, he's also a great dancer. Maybe you can grab a dance with him between sets!
Just make sure you don't wander off during the band breaks because DJ Scott Dylewski will be spinning the tunes and Double or Nothing will please us with a performance! You don't want to miss it!

2. Lessons January: Lessons Continue with Trevor & Audrey!

*** 2ND WEEK! ***
Classes continue with Trevor & Audrey! This is the second week of the 4-week series classes, but it's not too late. You can still sign up for the series at a discounted rate.
Level 1 - Lindy Hop: Building Your Repertoire with Trevor & Audrey
8:15 - 9:15pm
Time to cash in on that new year's resolution! We're kicking off the year with a new batch of exciting classes. This month in the level 1 class, we'll be covering the fundamentals of the Lindy Hop, including footwork, connection, turns, slick moves, and, most importantly, having a good time (which is *extremely* important).
Level 2 - Lindy Hop Technique & Flow with Trevor & Audrey
7:15 - 8:15pm
No dance is ever the same, even when danced to the same song. Many dynamic things come into play: communication, inertia, connection, and inspiration. In this intermediate series class, we will give you moves, fundamentals, and techniques that will help get you to that next level of dancing.
*** PRICING & SCHEDULE ***
Class includes free admission to the dance party.
7:15pm - Level 2 Intermediate Lindy Hop ($40 series, $15 drop-in)
8:15pm - Level 1 Beginning Lindy Hop ($40 series, $15 drop-in)
9:15pm - 12am - Dance Party with LIVE MUSIC! ($10)
($60 for both series, $23 to drop in both Level 1 & 2)
Cash, Checks or Credit Cards are accepted before 10pm.
Only cash or checks accepted after 10pm.

3. Just For You: Punch Cards & 2-for-1 Coupons!

Wednesday Night Hop offers $70 value pre-paid punch cards for entrance to the dance only. Each card gets you 10 admissions to the dance party be it a band night or a special party or performance. No more messing around with cash at the door. Just present your card and sign in!
If you signed up for the class series and you would like to introduce Lindy Hop to someone who has never been to Wednesday Night Hop before, ask your instructor for a 2-for-1 coupon. You can sign up for your next series class for only $25 for the continuing student and $25 for the brand new dancer! Spread the gospel of swing!
