It's no ordinary Band Night, folks -- we're celebrating our 9th Anniversary! What a joy has it been to see this amazing community grow over the years into what it is now -- a warm, friendly, exciting place. Let's celebrate as one big happy Lindy family! Let's dance till we drop to Clint Baker's New Orleans Jazz Band; let's watch the always inspiring Swing Cats Rhythm Revue perform for us; let's eat cake, let's beat the birthday piñata, let's take a huge family photo!
Clint Baker's New Orleans Jazz Band
We're so excited to have back one of everyone's most favorite bands! Clint Baker's NOJB appeared at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in 1992, performing with Willie and Percy Humphrey; and they appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival in 1999. The band has toured festivals in the US and Canada extensively and was voted one of the top five Favorite New (Emerging) Jazz Bands in the 1998 Mississippi Rag Trad Jazz and Ragtime Poll. In the same poll Clint was voted one of the top three Favorite New (Emerging) Musicians. In 2003, CBNOJB appeared at Osaka Jazz Street with the version of the band you will hear at the Jazz Bash by the Bay.
